Lee Oasis was set up in 1994 by members of an Ecumenical Justice and Peace Group who decided they wanted to do something about social inclusion. With £50 donated by six churches in Lee, London SE12 they opened a Drop In for anyone who fancied a free cup of tea or bowl of soup.
We are a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers and have links with a number of local churches including - The Good Shepherd with St Peter, Lee, St. Augustine's, Grove Park, Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Lee, the United Reformed Church, Lee and Burnt Ash Methodist Church, Lee.
Due to lack of funding and volunteers we have scaled down the services we provide and currently offer the following:
Weekly Drop In
We host a weekly Drop In on Tuesday mornings for anyone who needs support, a cup of tea and a snack. You will find a warm welcome.

We collect used and new baby goods to donate to families in need. These include buggies, beds, clothing and stairgates. Most of our clients are referred from health visitors and social workers. We welcome donations of baby goods in good condition. Contact us at
